The IBDS’ third conference took place in London from 13th-14th April 2007. Its theme  was the innovative role played by BD in relation to other visual and textual cultural forms. Papers were invited on  the relation between BD and cinema, pop art, web-design, fiction, photography, architecture and public heritage, with other areas of interest including BD and the reshaping of national reading communities, potential antecedents
